I fill the cooler with ice cubes and water at 5am every morning and at 6pm the ice cubes have not completely melted. This is a great cooler with lots of nice touches. With other cool boxes with a fold-out spout, this wears out over time and breaks. It will start popping up and you will constantly try to put it back in place. To make matters worse, it also starts to leak, so that you get water on yourself. This cooler solves this problem. The spout is fixed, there are no moving parts to wear out or break. There is a lid that opens with the push of a button. No leaks, no parts to break. Not only is the handle great because it's curved for better grip and comfort, but it also has a nice elastic band that adds comfort. It just feels good in the hand. The handle folds down and fits snugly on the cooler. Another nice touch. The lid screws tightly, no problems moving it. It also has a stop point so you don't over tighten it. You screw it all the way in and it won't turn any further. As simple as possible. This cooler is smaller than my previous 64-ounce cooler, but it still holds the same amount of water and keeps the water cooler for longer. Thermos did a great job designing this cool box. To be honest my only complaint really is that I didn't buy it sooner.
