There are a few extra parts, but if you buy only the parts you need, you'll probably end up spending more money. A few tips: 1. Watch Henry Bush Heating and Air's U-Tube video while you join.2. Use plumber's silicone grease on all rubber parts.3. There are two large O-rings on the faucet shaft. When you're done, you're left with two large O-rings, a cam, and two springs. The springs and seats protrude slightly from the holes. They will not fit snugly. Align the slot in the ball with the pin inside the housing5. Align the tab on the cam with the slot in the faucet before tightening the cover assembly6. You will need to hold the cam assembly to keep it in the slot and begin to tighten the cap. For this I used a long 10mm bushing in the cap and above the stem.7. If there is a leak at the end, tighten the cap a little more.8. When you're done, remove the aerator and run the faucet hot and cold to dislodge any dirt you squeezed out. These Danco parts fit my Delta faucet perfectly.
