You could just remove the wire and connect the two ends.
Did exactly what it was supposed to do. I converted the factory antenna to the standard antenna without any problems. I wish the wire wasn't so long. The resonator already has a ton of wires, and adding those just makes it disorganized. It would be easy to just omit the wire and connect the two ends together, reducing manufacturing costs and resulting in a more compact solution.
