Review on Nissan Brake Control Wiring Adapter: Tekonsha 3050-P - Enhanced for Seamless Integration by Michael Luna

Although Tekonsha posted this note on their website when they were looking for parts for 2018 Pathfinder (as of 07/2019): for this vehicle. Must be hardwired." turns out to be appropriate. At first I thought that wasn't the case, so I checked the Tekonsha website. But then, almost by accident (referring to a post in the Pathfinder forums) that the factory installed connector (which is fairly well hidden, wrapped in black fabric tape on the wiring harness in the dash, just above the emergency brake pedal) has some sort of adapter block attached to the end. I have included 3 photos of this adapter block with this review. After I removed the adapter this harness fitted perfectly, when I connected the other end of the harness to the Tekonsha P3 it turned on immediately and correctly detected brake pedal activity and also read vehicle voltage correctly.
