When I first saw the price of this lip balm I was surprised and wondered why I would want to spend so much on a $2 lip balm I buy at my local health food store. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it because it's very different and I don't think I've ever used a lip balm like this before. I call it a lip balm even though it's called a 'lip booster' but for me I use it just like a lip balm. First, it has a very unique metallic applicator that I have never seen in a lip product. Yes, I've seen this guy in eye creams (although not that often), but I was very surprised to see him in lip balms. I just love it! There's a cooling sensation, a metallic part, and I'll even use it to massage my lips a bit after application. I would put it in the fridge but I'm worried it will affect the consistency of the product although it will feel great on the lips on a hot summer day. The consistency of this product is completely different than any other lip balm I've used - it's like lip gloss but a little more runny and not sticky. There is no odor or anything like that and when you apply it on your lips it instantly moisturizes your lips. I love how my lips look after application. I am already addicted to lip balm and this product keeps me reapplying. Be careful if you accidentally leave this in a hot car/place as the metal applicator will burn! I wish this product was a little cheaper (although it's not ridiculously expensive) as I see myself getting it again. I read Paula's books many years ago, but I've never tried cosmetics. I am very impressed with this product and can't wait to try some of the other product lines. Get this - personally I think it's a bit more expensive than the lip balm, but very different from what's out there and well worth it.
