Needed food to treat our 5 year old GSD for skin allergies but it wasn't the answer for our boy. Atypical dermatitis sent us to the vet for medications that didn't help, the environment isn't an issue so we looked for food that might help. He liked the taste, stomach problems were mild. Happy with his reaction to the food, pleased that the food has no fishy smell at all! It just didn't help his itches, scratches and bumps :( We wanted this food to work for him but it didn't. We visited our local PetSmart and found their limited ingredient brand which was recommended by a member of staff who used it for his dogs ( one of them was GSD) It was a WINNER Limited ingredients Salmon and Sweet Potato Simply Nourish was the answer for us!
