I'm new to kalkwasser, have been using 2K for many years. It was very difficult for me to keep the alcohol and calcium levels at the right level. Alcohol was low, calcium tended to be higher, despite using the dispenser. After reading an article combining both methods, I decided to try Kalkwasser. I can't compare this product to others but I am amazed at how well this product simplifies water chemistry. I use a product with water on top. To keep the pH level, I add a small amount of vinegar.
