Cable is good, strong jacket, good flexibility, well shielded connectors. The problem with this cable is that the cable contains split pairs on pins 4-5 and 7-8. My cable tester found the problem and I ordered a replacement cable. The replacement cable has the exact same problem. A split pair will cause a high level of crosstalk on both affected pairs. A regular cable continuity test will show that all pins are properly connected since the same mistake was made on both ends of the cable. In this case, a wire from pair 4-5 (Blue, Blue, and White) has been connected to pin 7 or 8. A wire from pair 7-8 (Brown to White, Brown) was connected to pin 4 or 5. Since both ends of the cable have the same fault, the continuity test will pass. When you buy CAT7 cable, the last thing you want is crosstalk on ANY cable. those cables, or at least all the cables in the lot my cables are from. You need a cable tester that not only tests for continuity, but also tests split pairs to detect this problem. I am giving this cable 3 stars as the cable can be used for certain applications but it is definitely NOT CAT7 quality. If this cable was properly connected I would give this cable 5 stars.
