good deal!

Under twenty dollars, sounds great, ships quickly and is worth every penny. I really thought to get something more expensive. Please note that I have nothing to compare. So I ran it straight into the receivers, not through this box straight into my computer and then back into the same receivers. Untouched sounded slightly better directly in each of my JVC 517v receivers. But here's the catch, a little computer tweaking and all bets are off. The computer can reverb, equalizer, noise reduction, Range expansion, widen or narrow the distance and even slow it down or speed it up without distorting or going crazy. Meanwhile, whatever is done to the receiver, in many cases, causes more damage by the receiver. I've played rap, rock, classical, old school Motown and soul and even compared the CD to some of my records, amazing! I can't imagine buying anything more expensive without comparing A and B! Here's what I use. I have a do-it-yourself computer with an old Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music rated at around 101dB, which makes me miss the dead Auzen Prelude card. I'm using line-in and it's important that you don't use it as a microphone.

Pros
  • CONNECT TO PLAYER: Connect any player to modern audio equipment without a dedicated phono input to amplify your music. For a receiver, this can be connected to speakers, computers, laptops and more.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
