Of course it works, but not for connecting to computers.
Very long cable and charging cable. I sent it back because it didn't do what I needed. I bought it hoping to connect my iPad to my Mac with the advertised length from recording booth to mixing room. After connecting to the computer, it didn't work and didn't even charge. I'm assuming that a typical USB is lower voltage and can't carry as much current over such a long cable.
