My daughter loves these sandals very much. She can easily put them on and take them off. A thin strap that wraps around the top of your foot closes with Velcro and stays in place without unraveling. She wore them all day for several days and did not complain of irritation at all. For sizing reference, she is 8 years old and wears size 13 shoes and they fit her well so they are true to size. These sandals also have traction with the sole and she has worn them on wet surfaces and had no problem with slipping or slipping. They are very cute and stylish and look amazing with their dresses!
