Worked as technician to owner in the automotive industry for almost 40 years, often using over the counter products. They make high quality devices. I chose this particular step because it is OTC and its steps provide a non-slip surface. I spent 3 hours on it, one day I was hovering over the wing of a Suburban. no problem
