Efficient, long-term success.

We use this product to the extreme. We have a sea bait shop that sells live shrimp and minnows. This media is the first stage in all of our tanks (350 gallons each), we circulate water at 550 gallons per hour and this media does a great job removing large to medium solids. A little is enough! We wash the filters 2 times a day and they stay in continuous use 24 hours a day. The 18" stuff lasts me 2 weeks before we replace it. It would be a very long time if you knew how nasty those shrimp and minnows can be!
