Custom glove sizes are smaller than optimal when determined using the size chart.

This review is based on my experience, yours may vary. Although the thickness of the material and the molded nubs appear as advertised, the sizing of the gloves cannot be relied upon. Perhaps in Thailand (where the gloves are made) people have smaller hands than in the US. The glove size chart for this item is not accurate for deciding what size glove you should purchase - the size ranges given will result in you buying gloves that are uncomfortably tight a large percentage of the time. I don't know where they got this chart from, but it does NOT work for these particular gloves. (Although this can be significantly more accurate with a MUCH THIN glove.) The BEST approximation for ordering the correct size would be to measure DIAGONALLY across your palm, not directly on the spot indicated, and then order the next larger size close to that maximum size specified for the specific size. I measured my hands which turned out to be just under 3.5 inches when measured directly to the spot indicated on their chart. Your chart shows 3.5-4 inches for the "Large" size, which is the size I ordered as I don't like tight-fitting non-vented gloves. Over the years I've bought disposable nitrile gloves of various brands and thicknesses (from HF and other sources) and have always chosen "Large" which BEFORE has always felt a little loose on me no matter how cute the gloves were. (Measured diagonally at about a 45 degree angle, the same hand measures 4 inches. With THAT measurement, I would order YOU XL.) At least at this point, this company's gloves are too tight to be comfortable, based on their actual measurements, my thumbs were numb after a short time because the pressure of the glove cut off the blood circulation. I've also found that for the first time in ALL the nitrile gloves I've worn, the finger length is short enough that the fingers of the gloves are already fully extended by my fingers (no sagging) BEFORE they flex. I also ordered an XXL box and tried on a pair of TEX for a neighbor who wears XXL gloves. (His hands and fingers are big enough to make mine look childish in comparison.) On MY hands, the XXL size, while loose enough to remove without turning inside out, is more comfortable to use than "large." ". breathe" is much better too.

Pros
  • Latex-free disposable gloves are ideal for people who are allergic to natural rubber latex.
Cons
  • Cleanliness
