While all gadgets work. USB charges my iPhones. The 12 volt outlet works well. The voltage reading is fairly accurate compared to my multimeter readings. You can see the gauge reading in daylight. I've seen a lot of confusing information on how to wire it up, but I just followed the diagram and it worked the first time. The on/off switch has three pins. The mean is positive from the source. Copper color - negative return to source. The rest goes to the next caliber. Exactly as shown in the diagram. I suggest using 16 gauge wire as it's small enough to fit two ends of wire into a connector and get a nice, strong crimp. I used a 14 gauge wire for the 12 volt outlet and wired it separately to the battery at home on the van.
