I recently packed up the winter bedding into a nice storage container that I realized could be double as a side table if could find the right top for it. This tray is exactly it. It's constructed of good material, is light-weight, has a gorgeous lacquer finish, and the gold trim an eye-catching accent that I quite like despite generally hating gold (fyi as a color or accent gold it's a galling hang-over from the pre-industrial era of aristocratic display and conspicuous consumption in societies of mass poverty and depravation, a pitiful emulation of a defunct ruling class's exhausted hegemony), but the gold trim works in this case. This is a quality item at a very reasonable price that adds a splash of class and glamor to a space. I like it very much.
