This long handle is so outdated it's much better. where I don't have to bend down or get really close. The downside is the bar keeps collapsing and my husband used some tape (tape is good for anything of course) to keep the bar from falling. Now it stays for a long time and I can't tell you how much life has improved now that I can take it and do it. I tap the sides to filter out the junk, throw the bad stuff in the bag, and empty the bag every day. Such a breeze compared to before. I never accidentally touch things, which is great. Although I wash my hands, I despise it when it hits me. I clean the cat's paws and use a personal towel for his claws and it makes a big difference.
