So I originally bought this collar for my companion dog to wear with her Mobility Bridgeport harness. I didn't want a very thick leather collar, but one that looked like leather or was made out of thinner leather. I saw this one and the reviews weren't that bad plus the price was pretty good so I took a chance and bought it. The packaging is fine, it reached me in two days which was nice and also to let you know that it was made in China as stated on the packaging. When I took it out of the box I was amazed at how flexible and soft it was. I also really like how easy the buckle opens and closes and how easy it is to adjust. I ordered the black which is a bit more brown than I thought it would be but for what I need it will fit. I will say this is not a strong collar, although it serves its purpose and looks good I would not recommend it for pullers or a dog with rough collars. The faux leather is very soft and I could easily see it tearing under a lot of force or the faux leather surface peeling off with constant use. Like I said, this will go in and out with my service dog's mobility harness, so I'm not worried you'll find it difficult. Just something to keep in mind for others who may not use it as carefully as we do. Otherwise, the collar is functional and looks good, even if it is cheaper.
