I chose this mini camera to monitor the area around my home without having to install a complex camera system. Setting up and using the camera was fairly easy by following the included app-based setup instructions. The camera is plugged in and turned on and has a built-in battery that I can rely on in the event of a power outage. I am very impressed with the quality of a camera of this size. It is made of solid metal material. .2K video resolution with night vision, audio monitoring, remote viewing capability and motion alerts make this mini camera reliable in every way. Definitely recommend.
