Review on Wotefusi Rear Brake System Kit for Dirt Pit Trail ATV Quads Buggies 125Cc - Brake Disc Rotor Disk and Parts Set by John Castle

Simply no performance

Downgraded to one star because either this device is defective or simply doesn't have much gripping power. It moves the calipers and pads, but it doesn't push on the rotor enough to slow the wheel. Thinking it was either air in the system or a weak/faulty master cylinder, I bought another master cylinder with an external reservoir that I could easily check and fill. This allowed me to force the brake fluid through the entire system to remove air bubbles. Still no grip power. Should be in the caliper. Old review --- trying to get this to work on a kart. No plug and play connector. I first had to make a hub for the disc (I used an old drum brake hub, just drilled a few holes), then I had to install the master cylinder and make the drive arm. Because of all this fiction, I had to open the system. No matter what I try, I can't get the system to release all the air. I've tried a few things (not the first time I've bled the brakes) and just can't get the pads to fully engage. Out of the box the pads worked well with plenty of grip, but after opening the system I just can't get it to work well enough. Also, the piston tappet lever needs a lot of travel for the dogs to work properly, and my cable-driven system just doesn't have enough travel. The device makes a solid impression, hence the three stars, but requires a lot of manufacturing work.
