After reading the reviews I was concerned that this item was junk. However, it seemed to work as advertised. I changed the driver's side door pins on a 2001 S10 Blazer and used this tool to almost fully compress the door spring three times. Once to check the tool, once when trying to replace the spring for the first time after replacing it. Pins and sockets, and third, by seeing what I did wrong when trying to reset the spring for the first time. At this point it doesn't appear to be bent at all (because it's too thin).
