Ideal for changing filters. You have to buy them because they are paper and cannot be washed. I would buy from the seller again. The 3 filters in Shark vacuums NEED to be changed or washed very often or the vacuum will not work properly. I have a Dyson Animal and the filters are NOT THAT dirty, the filter (1) can be washed and there is no need to buy filters. I have areas where I use both but the Dyson is a much better buy in the long run when you factor in the cost of replacing all the filters.
