I've only had this unit for a few days but it has already paid for itself. I started by testing it with pure lab-grade distilled water (0 PPM) and saline (which was spot on), then tested my tap water and various local filtered water suppliers. This allowed me to choose a supplier whose price per gallon of water was well below what I was paying for water of the same quality. Automatic temperature compensation and factory calibration set this gauge apart from the competition and I'm confident that if I have any future problems I can take care of it with a supplier in Georgia, which is a lot easier than someone abroad.
