Smells awful L-Arginine

When the bottle was opened there was a horrible smell and I knew it was wrong, I've been taking this stuff for years and have never felt anything like it in my life and it really lingers and reaps from the lid, i took them, three and later i regretted it because i've had worse burps and bloating from them, i think i'll do these lab tests and see what it really is?
