5 packs is good value for money although the first unit I installed was DOA
I use this as a POE filter to keep my TIVO MOCA network private. The cable company removes the filter and tries to replace all of my wide range premium MOCA splitters with their commercial junk every time they call for help. Bulk packaging makes filter reinstallation cheap and easy for a technician to put in their pocket. I tested one of these on my network to see if it blocks the MOCA signal and works as expected.
