They are extremely bright.
I am amazed at how bright they are, bought the amber greens to plow for the community. And with the aluminum boxes I seem to have double coverage. Assembly was pretty easy except for the suction cups. I recommend soaking them in hot water before trying to put them on your braces, otherwise they will leave a number on your thumb. I don't know how strong they are, but my rear seat headrests keep them in place. I haven't used the light much, it hasn't snowed yet, but for $50 with a two-year warranty, I'm more than satisfied.
