This is a very simple and easy way to get good pictures with your telescope. You have to line up the barlow or you won't get it sharp. BUT since Barlow extends the focal length, you actually get an image on the right. I was impressed. It connected easily to my Nikon with no loss of light. Also, the eyepiece body is threaded to fit all your 1.25" astronomical filters. With a 2x Barlow I see at about the same magnification as with a 15mm eyepiece. I'm planning on getting a 3x Barlow to use with that. but to the best of my knowledge I can't focus anything so don't do it unless you want to take some risk. The scope is much more stable when you don't need to touch it to take pictures. This is by far the cheapest and most efficient way to connect a DSLR to a telescope.
