I wanted to try this lip balm for two reasons: the smell and the rave reviews. I will say this isn't the worst lip balm I've tried, but in my opinion it's definitely not worth the price or the hype. It is less moisturizing than regular lip balm and needs to be reapplied at least every hour. Despite the fact that I've applied it so often, I still had a bit of lip flaking during the winter. Glidability and texture are good but not very moisturizing. The smell was also incredibly disappointing to me. At first it only smelled like rosemary and vanilla, which I wasn't expecting from something claiming to be Tahitian vanilla. As the tube was used, it smelled more and more of rosemary and less and less of vanilla. This really annoyed me since I was looking for vanilla lip balm, not rosemary. In fact, I don't even like rosemary and was hoping that since it's at the bottom of the ingredient list, it wouldn't contribute to the smell at all. Unfortunately this was not the case. FYI, any lip augmentation product they use is also ineffective. They're enough to cause an annoying slight tingling sensation, but not really plump lips. All in all pretty disappointing.
