I would consider buying again knowing the zipper is of better quality.
This small size is just right for two small kittens, their food, water and a very small toilet. I would recommend medium or large if you have more than two small kittens (less than 3 months old). Easy to fold and unfold, durable. We haven't taken it on any trips, but I think it will fit. The only issue I have is the zipper that attaches the top canopy to the belt. Sometimes my teeth don't meet when I zip up. I wear a canopy all the time because I need to keep my older cats out of the enclosure.
