Review on 🐱 Instinct Raw Boost: Grain-Free Dry Cat Food with High Protein Kibble and Freeze-Dried Raw Cat Food by Lindsey Braaten

I have been subscribing and saving this food for my 2 cats for several years and have always been a big fan of this cat food. It's great quality, not very expensive, and my kittens have grown from small kittens to strong, muscular, smooth-coated cats. Unfortunately something has changed with this food lately as anyone else can see from the recent reviews of people mentioning their kittens are sick. .My kitten boy is very picky and that is pretty much everything he eats, kitten girl eats more. The last batch of this food I received looked different. Pieces of raw nuggets were lighter in color and sort of motley, uneven in color. I noticed this immediately. I thought they changed the formula for raw nuggets and gave them to my cats. After eating it for just a few days, both of my cats developed diarrhea. My kitty had it the worst because it is his main food source. Luckily they didn't throw up and I noticed the problem after a few days when I gave them this bag of food. It's also good that I always have an extra old packet on hand, so I've started giving them that instead. They've been fine since I switched, so it's definitely a newer batch of food. I've included photos of both nugget food packages so you can see the difference (labeled 'Good Batch' and 'Bad Batch' so you can compare). If you receive a package where the nuggets look odd and speckled/stained, it's probably a bad batch. Please pay close attention to your kittens if you decide to give them this. If there are any issues, contact Revain immediately for a refund/replacement. You replace the bag for free. UPDATE I have contacted Instinct to let them know about the issue. I was not satisfied with the lack of responsibility they took on the matter. Basically they said they didn't find any indication that there was anything wrong with the food. But they sent me coupons for two free £10 bags. I've decided to use them in Petco (they can't be used in Revain). I bought a different kind of their raw chicken chunks (no nuggets) and my cats have been fine. I will not buy this kind of raw nugget slices. Apparently there is a problem with the nuggets themselves and/or some stocks in the Revain warehouse have been contaminated. The fact that the company hasn't looked into this and come to that conclusion is disappointing. They also don't have customer service to deal with Revain issues (which isn't a good thing either). Be sure to contact Revain and Instinct directly with any concerns. The reviews left only serve as a warning to others (which is important) as Instinct doesn't bother to review or reply to them.
