I didn't have an air pump. I used one of those emergency air pumps that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter/charger, which was inconvenient. Ordered this after looking at several options. Love the fact that it's rechargeable and doesn't require a long power cord to get to the tires. I inflate bike tires while they're still on the rack in the garage so I don't have to bend down. Big! Nice compact size and fits in hand like a small "C" cell flashlight. I like the calibration screen options, but I've decided to set my fitness and road bikes to 100psi and turn it off at the desired air pressure. The only drawback: the larger the tire, the longer it takes to inflate. For automotive use I would choose something with more capacity. Should work great for a motorcycle, but not more if you don't have all day to do it! Would definitely recommend, especially for cyclists and motorbikes. The compact size is very convenient to keep in a small place!😊
