Review on Woofer Dog Training Collar Remote by Chris Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far, so good! suitable for collars, harnesses and leashes

I've only had it a few days so can't comment on the durability of this product yet, but so far I'm very impressed! The collar and the remote control appear to be of high quality. They are light but not cheap. I really like that this collar has longer pins. I think this will work much better for my dogs since they both have long and thick coats. When their hair grows back, they no longer respond to other collars we've tried. So for me that was the number one selling point. I have not seen any other collars with such pins. Also, nowhere in the description does it say that the remote control has a security feature, so if the button is accidentally pressed, it will turn itself off after 10 seconds. . I believe it stays off for 30 seconds before you can use it again. Pairing is really easy. Some reviews I've seen for other remote collars say that to pair you have to use the vibrate or shock button which in turn triggers the collar (it doesn't make sense to me that this would be a thing, but I guess what it is). To pair with this collar, simply turn on the remote and collar, then press and hold the two buttons on the remote for a few seconds (the buttons will not emit beeps/beeps/bursts). I'm not sure, but I think they stay paired even if one or both are powered off. I can't say for sure as I check it every time anyway. So far, so good! I will edit my review if I encounter any issues.

Pros
  • Simple dog training that really works: Does your dog bark, bite, jump, dig all the time or not obey? This remote controlled dog stun collar uses 3 modes - beep, vibration, shock - to safely change behavior.
Cons
  • poorly thought out
