Perfect for a large door
We bought this to close the large entrance to our dining room. This works great for us as it helps keep our little one in the same room instead of running all over the house. Sliding gates are very easy to use and allow us to keep the door clear when not in use. This is a much better option than using longer gates, which essentially block the door all the time. The only small issue is that you have to use a screw template to mark where to drill in the wall to properly attach the retractable gate. Aside from the more complicated setup, this is commendable.
