Generates high voltage, can catch fire.
Bought 5 of these and 2 of them literally went up in smoke. They shut off high DC voltage but if I hadn't caught them doing a smoke show they might have caught fire. Both times they were powered by a regulated 12V power supply and not once did the output short out. The first lasted a week, the second lasted a few months. I decided not to try my luck with others. Use with caution. I purchased this item from other sources. This review is not specific to this seller. But a warning, do not be silent.
