My son just turned 7 and a size 7-8 is too big and long in his arms (he's too small). But it will be okay if he wears a sweater or a heavier shirt underneath. Fleece inside, just what I wanted. The burgundy color is really good; Blue would be nice too. Got it at a very good price. I can't be wrong
