A good brush for beginners in modern calligraphy.

Crayola has really upped its game in the adult coloring world. This includes the brand new Crayola brush markers for all your calligraphy needs. Modern calligraphy is becoming increasingly popular and they are perfect for beginners and experts alike. Tombows are popular, but price wise the Crayola is a good starter marker until you decide to buy a more expensive brand. These markers have two tips, a brush and a smaller, thinner brush. Each comes in two different colors. The tip of the brush is slightly darker than the opposite end of the thinner brush tip. There are 16 total markers in 32 different colors, but around 16 different colors with two-toned shades of each color. I realized very quickly that this is something that should be used with caution. The brush nib is great for making nice thick strokes down and soft, light strokes up, but I learned too quickly that pressing down on the brush nib pen too hard would wear down the nib. In fact, I would highly recommend that you first use a regular Crayola marker or some other branded marker for the fat/thin variable and start the exercises and then once you get the hang of it and building your wrist and arm muscles, feel free to work with these brush handles. Also. Lettering is an art form, and like any other art form, it takes practice and technique to complete. I would definitely recommend buying these but being comfortable with strokes and writing practice. Well done. I only wish I had really practiced my techniques and exercises before fully learning them and eventually wearing out a few ends of the large brush tips. Beginners, advanced, novices, everyone rejoices! These are some beautiful brush pens at a great affordable price, giving you two shades for gradient practice, brush techniques and more. They also come in a very nice tin for storage. I'll practice more and be sure to lighten my hand a bit before I buy again, but you can bet I'll buy another set - so keep making great stuff Crayola!

Pros
