I LOVE this pillow. It took me about 4 nights to fully get used to it, but now I really like it. I sleep on my side. I bought a large Comfy roll pillow to replace the memory foam pillow which unfortunately is no longer made by the original manufacturer or I would have just bought another one of these. I never thought I could love a buckwheat hull pillow more than my memory foam side bed, but I do. Yes, this brand is expensive and I was concerned about the price. Nevertheless, the pillow is solidly processed, all materials are of high quality. These pillows are an example of "you get what you pay for" and I think they are worth it. I will most likely buy another one. Yes, the pillow is heavy. However, I've found that I never have to move it while I sleep (unlike other pillows that I fluff and rearrange while I sleep). I can roll from side to side and the pillow just stays in place. An added bonus, you can make special little indentations in the body just by gently tapping the pillow to compensate for sensitive areas on my face or in my case to make room for my ears so the lug of my earrings doesn't press against mine Neck. It should perhaps be noted that I love hard surfaces to sleep on (I sleep on a futon for example) - this pillow is definitely hard. If you like soft and fluffy, this might not be for you. For me, firmness helps eliminate sleep stiffness, aches and pains. I have no neck pain when using the Comfy roller.
