My husband is a small, delicate flower and likes to sleep on a soft surface. He thinks our mattress is a little hard (I like it) so we've been using mattress pads for years. We recently had one of those memory foam sheets but it was a huge pain. It shifted on the mattress and often shifted nearly a foot (and then ripped on the sides when we tried to lift it back into place). I liked the look of it as it has a built in mattress topper to keep it in place. Firstly, it's a bit scary when you open it. We had black and white striped sheets on our bed, and with all the hills and valleys, our bed suddenly looked like the cover of Joy Division's album Unknown Pleasures. This thing creates some serious topography on the surface of your bed! I thought it might wear off after a few uses but those mounds remain. my husband loves it I do not mind. I like that it stays in place. But yeah, it's weird.
