Review on VTech Patrol Treat Time Marshall: Enhance Playtime Fun with Interactive Treat Dispensing Pup! by Kris Feezy

The best of poorly designed e-learning toys

This toy is a great idea, but it has many disadvantages. Marshall is completely flat at the back and only three-dimensional at the front. So if you try to put a bone in his mouth, he'll fall over. You have to lay it flat on the ground to put the bones in your mouth and that makes it harder. The bones don't go in the dog, they just go in the mouth, and then you have to pull them out to put new ones in. Customs service. The bone fits almost entirely in his mouth, so it's very difficult to pull back even for an adult. It's also difficult to click the bone all the way, and that's the only way to get him to talk. The bones are kept in a compartment on its abdomen, but they barely fit inside. Great concept but the design makes it such that the kids who are going to learn their alphabet aren't old enough to master it on their own.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Only available in black
