Good but: Education and training

Nice but could use some improvement. It would be nice if he actually "eats" the treat and it hits him in the stomach. 2) it doesn't count. Just read the letter on the treat and then take it out of your mouth and give him another one to read3) I should have known better than to buy another toy with so many pieces. This is not a manufacturing defect, but a personal one. I have a few of these goodies at home and still find them. I guess I should have said they should come with a treat bag to keep…

Cute concept, poor execution

This toy is very cute but I originally bought it for my youngest son (2 years old). The set includes many different boys and different difficulty levels of what Marshall wants to give him. letter vs color etc. The toy works by inserting the correct bone into Marshall's mouth where the problem occurs. Bones are very difficult to put in your mouth and even more so to take out. Even I'm having trouble getting that stupid bone out of my mouth. My 4 year old enjoyed playing with it but eventually…

The best of poorly designed e-learning toys

This toy is a great idea, but it has many disadvantages. Marshall is completely flat at the back and only three-dimensional at the front. So if you try to put a bone in his mouth, he'll fall over. You have to lay it flat on the ground to put the bones in your mouth and that makes it harder. The bones don't go in the dog, they just go in the mouth, and then you have to pull them out to put new ones in. Customs service. The bone fits almost entirely in his mouth, so it's very difficult to pull…

Great gift for young learners

Very cute product! My 4 year old son is learning the alphabet and sometimes has a bit of trouble. We have a singing fridge magnet that he loves, but I wanted to provide him with a different resource. He loves Paw Patrol and when I saw this I knew I had to buy it. Marshall makes cute noises and asks for certain letters. My son just loves putting treats in his mouth and loves to tell us when he did a good job finding the letters Marshall wanted. My only issues are that the storage door comes off…

Pretty good, thought I'd like it more

That's cute. I don't like it, thought I would. I thought the bones went into his mouth and fell into his stomach, but they didn't. You insert a bone and depending on what mode you are in you will be told about that specific bone but then you have to take it out and put another bone in etc. My 2 year old has trouble putting bones in - and get out. So it definitely wasn't a popular Christmas present. And I liked that the whole alphabet was there BUT it leads to a lot of bones in the stack to keep

Cute but not what I expected...

My daughter's favorite character from PAW Patrol is Marshall. We bought this for her third birthday and expected it to be a toy that Marshall could "feed" treats to. However, you need to stick the bones perpendicular to Marshall's mouth, and they go about halfway, after which you need to remove them. The bones don't fit completely in the mouth and it was as we expected although I will say it wasn't clear from the photos so I guess it's partly my fault. The toy is great for learning if your…
