This is a good speaker, especially for the price. It was perfect for what I needed at the time, replacing the driver in a 1927 RCA Radiola speaker. Due to the price I wasn't expecting the highest quality on the market, but I got a decent speaker, I'm sure it would sound better if I actually wall mounted it, built in, is detachable and NOT covered the back of the speaker. It uses the wall as a large soundbar to boost the bass. When mounting in a wall, it would be a good idea to add insulation above and below the speaker to avoid "thumb" noise.
