Does exactly what it says on the tin. Performance increase? Fur. I think that's exactly what people feel when they hear more engine noise. It's a nice scratchy sound coming out of my 5.3 now. Very satisfied. Cons: In heavy rain, water tends to get on the filter from the side of the hood. I would be careful with that. A cap on the top would be ideal to prevent water from entering the filter. But with other CAI manufacturers you have this option. Again, I'm very happy with it just because of the sound. Just don't expect 25 hp lol.
