UPDATE September 23, 2019 Downgraded to two stars after using only the cable to charge and copy data to my Windows PC four times, the phone is now having troubles itself to connect to PC to copy data, but works when using a different cable. It may be a defective cable, but I've waited too long and the 30-day free return/exchange period has now expired. I'm only giving it two stars because it still works for charging and looks like a well made cable from the outside - I wish it was as well made on the inside as the factory cable that came with the phone. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I agree with other reviews that this cable doesn't stretch well. I knew that but it's normal, I don't need the phone to be connected for a long time to the car I bought it for. What I need is a right angle connector and some stretch. It seems to work fine for uploading and transferring files from my computer. Where it fails is that it's unreliable to keep the connection between my Moto G7 and my Android Auto device - my device loses connection to the phone after a while. I have the same problem with another aftermarket cable. The original Motorola cable that came with the phone will still work without this issue.
