Chargeable but not video

I travel a lot for work and am always looking for ways to upgrade my travel gear. I was hoping to use this to replace the cable for my USB-C travel monitor. (If you're used to working and traveling in a multi-monitor environment, I highly recommend getting a travel monitor.) In any case, the idea of a coiled USB-C cable seemed perfect to me. Charging is all it does.

Bought for my truck. Not that I need a charging cable, but to use Android Auto. The ONLY reason I ordered it is for the role. It will not be long or short as it will roll up when not in use. I have other sockets. The whole point was keeping it in the truck, and it folds up and out of the way when not in use. I just plugged in the cable today and Android Auto keeps crashing. Revain now have a limited stock of twisted USB-C cables and I really liked the length and compactness of this cable. Unfortunately the end of the USB-C cable was from day one of using this cable an nitpicky .any direction that causes the connector to move a fraction of a millimeter then the cable disconnects from my monitor without pulling the connector. Revain coiled USB-C cables are currently limited and I really liked the length and compactness of this cable. The end was tricky. The cable detaches from my monitor without unplugging misaligned or something.All the other cables work fine with my monitor so it's definitely an issue with the build quality or connector design of this cable.Two stars because this cable actually handles a continuous 2 amp load and everything else on it seems fine too be.

UPDATE September 23, 2019 Downgraded to two stars after using only the cable to charge and copy data to my Windows PC four times, the phone is now having troubles itself to connect to PC to copy data, but works when using a different cable. It may be a defective cable, but I've waited too long and the 30-day free return/exchange period has now expired. I'm only giving it two stars because it still works for charging and looks like a well made cable from the outside - I wish it was as well made…

Often falls behind, cool idea but impractical.

Great idea, looks cool. The problem is materials and practicality. It is not malleable enough to be easily stretched or restored to its original shape. The wire is too hard, it needs to be made of a softer material. This will result in STRONG PRESSURE on the USB connectors and ports. If you want to completely and quickly destroy your phone's USB port, this will do. The wire is pulled so hard that it either pulls the connector clean or breaks with side pressure. It's useless when stretched due…
