So I have a 65 lb boxer mix that is almost 5 years old. He was a rescuer and never showed food, territory or aggression until he was 3 years old. He was attacked quite viciously by a much larger male Mastiff. Unfortunately, this left him in a state of aggressive confidence towards other dogs who walked forward about half the time (although he could never tell if introducing a new dog was going to go well or badly). About 6 months ago we brought home a 3 month old bulldog mastiff in hopes that it would help him socialize and get used to larger dogs as they grow up together. They were good together BUT the pup picked up some bad habits. These collars, when used consistently and CORRECTLY (rewarding good behavior = 1000 times more effective than disciplining bad behavior) have helped tremendously in just one week. They got wet from sprinklers and rain, chewed up by my pitty and work great. My only criticism is this: 1. The side slots on the collar device are unfortunately a way for the dog to remove it from the collar in a very cryptic way. Then it lies motionless and deactivated in the grass, and you have to find it. This is a HUGE PROBLEM as the collar is unusable once removed and dogs have no problem removing it. Terrible, terrible design.2. The mode button should be changed to activate light, vibration, sound and shock when pressed. The reason I'm suggesting this is because nowadays (light, sound, vibration, shock) it's easy to be mistakenly shocked thinking it's vibrating when the button is accidentally pressed. THIS PRODUCT WOULD GET 5 STARS IF THERE WAS NO DESIGN. DEFECT
