Review on 🍽️ Etekcity 22lb Digital Kitchen Food Scale, Waterproof & Rechargeable, Ounces & Grams, Ideal for Weight Loss & Cooking, 304 Stainless Steel by Anna Lee

Very easy to read, accurate, small and light

I had a similar scale from another company for a few years but when it finally died I noticed that Etekcity is cheaper and has good reviews so me decided to try it. Perfect solution! It's incredibly lightweight and easy to use and store. I like the "Tare" feature, which lets you place an empty bowl or plate on the scale, zero the reading, and then add what you're about to weigh, which I like to do quite often. - contrasting black on white capital letters. Even my visually impaired husband, who can no longer read most household appliances, can read it. It's also accurate, and when I tested that aspect, I found something that surprised me quite a bit. The scale has different settings for fluid ounces of water and milk, which makes sense since "fluid ounces" is a unit of volume rather than weight. When I measured both water and milk, the scale showed they weighed about 1/2 ounce more than the measuring cup indicated. So I took out another measuring cup and the reading came very close to the 8 ounces I thought I had poured. The third beaker confirmed this. From the looks of it, my scale is more accurate than at least one of my measuring cups! I am very happy with this little scale and I hope it will be used frequently in my kitchen.
