I haven't had them long enough to appreciate the durability, but they were the cheapest in their class in 400 thread count Egyptian cotton. What does 400 threads mean? Well, that means the fabric is woven so tightly that it looks like water is beading off it instead of being absorbed. Yes, they wrinkle quite well after washing and are difficult to fold due to the elastic at the edge. but AFTER you've made your bed, you'll find that the sheets lie perfectly flat (a quarter of them may bounce) without those annoying creases! These sheets were designed for a much thicker mattress (12-15 inches), but our Tempur-Pedic mattress is only 9 inches thick. That's not a problem, the sheets still fit well if you make sure that there is elastic underneath. the entire edge of the mattress.
