These are NOT traditional "tiles" so working with them will throw away everything you know about such tiles. However, they are similar to cutting PVC pipe, except they are not round. Certainly difficult without the right tools. Also, you NEED a socket extender when tiling around sockets. You can buy them at any hardware store or from Revain. Pretty easy to install and doesn't require any electrical knowledge as long as you TURN OFF this outlet FIRST. However, I made the stupid mistake of not including the crown bar in my layout and execution until it was too late. Because of this, I had to shape the transition along the top of my wall where it meets the crown molding. I did this with a combination of plaster and drywall and lots of trial and error. None of what I recommend. I recommend removing the crown molding, installing the tile properly, and then reattaching the crown molding as it should be (insert your front palm here). However, these tiles deliver on all promises, including reliable packaging and delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I LOVE HER! I have included photos of my finished wall so you can see my efforts. I decided to paint mine white and found that the caulking gun was my golden friend when it came to cracking. It dries instantly and remains very smooth when rubbed with a damp cloth after application. The tile is smooth, so you will need paint and a primer. In my case I used Valspar with primer in the color. I'm happy to answer any questions if someone wants an honest answer about a product or app. I am happy with this purchase. Thank you for reading!
