Good for travel - my new review
We bought this primarily for its ability to manage both 110 and 220 volts. My wife has had single voltage flat irons that have caused issues when traveling, one burning itself up and another frying my step down converter. So one designed for dual voltage was a must.This heats up super fast and has had no troubles on Cruise ships, in Europe, and in Africa. It’s got auto shutoff and a nifty temperature sensor. Supposedly heats up to 450 degrees, just shy of setting things on fire.It’s held up well during travel, which is always tough on electronics. Recommended.
- Snags hair and plates do not close all the way. Will be returning.
- The on/off switch can be accidentally activated while styling
