Review on 🔌 Enhanced Bluetooth VE.Direct Smart Dongle by Victron Energy by Tyler Owens

It was quite difficult to get this to work. More work needs to be done on this device and its app! They say not to connect to the device while you're not in the app, which is ridiculous! Why can't they get it to work properly and connect seamlessly like Bluetooth speakers do? I first tried using it with my Galaxy Note 8 but I kept getting a message from the app saying it can't communicate with the device. Then I tried the Moto G5 and it was able to connect but when I tried to log in it kept saying that the password 000000 was wrong. The manual says the password can be changed so I tried it when it was set to a random number. It is said that it can be reset by pressing the button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes twice, but this is not possible if the LED flashes the whole time. I finally managed to accept the password and start working, but I'm not sure how. The other problem is that once it's connected and you're logged in, if you come back later and try to connect again, it doesn't do it immediately as a speaker, but it takes a long time to connect and start working again. More problems! It was cloudy today and I wanted to see if the solar panels were charging so I launched the Victron app and it immediately crashed and its icon disappeared from the screen! I turned off, restarted everything and tried again and it connects via bluetooth but then says it needs to update the firmware from 2.15 to 2.19. It goes a little to 4% and then gets an "Update Failed" error! Is there a way to fix this as bluetooth is currently not working?
